Key Responsibilities:
- Co-manage daily operations of PBHI’s social media platforms (Instagram, X/Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok)
- Build and maintain platform-specific content calendars aligned with our editorial vision
- Analyse engagement metrics weekly and propose actionable insights
- Support execution of global campaigns and awareness days
- Maintain brand consistency in captions, tone, visuals, and responses
- Engage actively with followers, partner platforms, and collaborators
- Innovate automation and scheduling systems using tools like Buffer, Notion, Metricool, etc.
Requirements:
- Demonstrated experience managing public-facing accounts for a health, development, or advocacy brand
- Fluency in visual storytelling and platform algorithms
- Proficiency with tools like Meta Suite, Canva, Notion, and Buffer
- Ability to interpret analytics and translate numbers into strategy
- High responsiveness and commitment to daily time blocks
- Minimum 1 year of professional, volunteer, or academic experience related to public health or digital engagement
- Fluency in English (spoken and written); multilingual abilities are a plus
- Willingness to adhere to PBHI’s volunteer performance framework, code of conduct, and weekly task expectations

Digital Storytelling & Multimedia Content Creator (3 positions)
This role is ideal for a design-minded digital thinker who understands the nuance of brand aesthetics, platform-specific storytelling formats, and the urgency of public health messaging. You will translate complex public health messages into visually striking, emotionally resonant digital experiences that cut across cultures, platforms, and languages.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and edit high-impact videos, reels, carousels, graphics, and GIFs
- Develop content assets tailored to each platform (e.g., LinkedIn professional reels, Instagram stories, X infographics)
- Co-create monthly campaigns and bring health data to life through dynamic visuals
- Integrate subtitles, transitions, calls to action, and branded elements into final outputs
- Collaborate with Health Writers and Voice Amplifiers for integrated storytelling
- Maintain a central asset library for content management and reusability
Requirements:
- Portfolio of visual or multimedia work in health or advocacy-related sectors
- Mastery of tools like CapCut, Adobe Express, Canva Pro, InShot, or DaVinci Resolve
- Ability to tell complex stories in a visually compelling way
- Strong understanding of visual pacing, colour psychology, and accessibility standards
- Quick turnaround capacity and openness to feedback loops
- Minimum 1 year of professional, volunteer, or academic experience related to public health or digital engagement

Scientific Writer & Health Communications Analyst
The Scientific Writer & Health Communications Analyst will be responsible for crafting technically sound, beautifully structured, and ethically responsible content ranging from social copy to long-form publications.
This role is for an individual with rigorous analytical thinking, an editorial mindset, and the ability to synthesize data into compelling narratives. The writer will work in tandem with researchers, designers, and digital leads to ensure message accuracy, voice consistency, and content alignment with regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct secondary health research and transform findings into digestible public health content
- Draft social media captions, web content, newsletter articles, and thought pieces
- Co-create scripts for voiceovers, animations, and live interviews
- Edit and proofread submissions to maintain PBHI’s editorial and scientific integrity
- Translate technical concepts (e.g., maternal mortality, health systems financing) into accessible language for broad audiences
- Ensure alignment with regulatory standards in global and public health communication
Requirements:
- Mastery in written English, with a proven track record in public health writing
- Background in public health, epidemiology, health promotion, or science communication

As a Digital Health Campaign Spokesperson, the individual serves as a representative of our brand, bringing public health themes to life through engaging, human-centered content.
This is ideal for someone who is confident on camera, skilled in personal branding, and able to interpret health messages in a relatable, trustworthy, and compelling manner. The purpose is to increase public relatability, improve campaign visibility, and build trust between PBHI and the broader community especially young audiences, local champions, and underserved populations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Record or co-host short videos, reels, live sessions, or interviews
- Share PBHI campaigns through your personal network with strategic messaging
- Participate in digital health challenges and amplify campaigns through storytelling
- Collaborate with creators, writers, and designers to share content in your voice
- Attend monthly sync-ups to stay aligned with advocacy themes
Requirements:
- Demonstrated passion for health equity and community-centered advocacy
- Confidence in front of the camera and strong presence across platforms
