Introducing YouthEcho: Young Voices for Community Health

YouthEcho is the youth engagement programme of Powered by Health Initiative. It brings young people into community health as advocates, volunteers, and storytellers.

Young people are often the first to spot what their peers need and the best placed to share health information in language their communities trust. YouthEcho gives them the training, structure, and platform to do that well.

What YouthEcho does

  • Trains young people as community health advocates
  • Supports peer-to-peer health education in schools, campuses, and communities
  • Develops digital storytelling and campaigns on health topics that matter to young people
  • Connects young volunteers with PBHI programmes such as the CHASE Initiative
